Youth in the eighth grade have an opportunity to participate in the Junior Teen Institute (JTI) program.
JTI operates on similar principles as Teen Institute. Students attend a weekend leadership conference to learn skills to become better drug-free leaders in their schools. After the conference, JTI students bring their skills back to their school to provide awareness about making positive choices to their peers as well as opportunities to have drug free fun.
All public schools in both Marion and Crawford counties currently participate in the Junior Teen Institute program.
